The Colts were originally based in Baltimore, Maryland. They relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana in the mid-eighties. For the next thirteen years after their relocation, they took home wins in ninety out of the two hundred twenty-eight games that they played. These wins included winning five games in the playoffs.

After the death of the team’s owner, Robert Irsay, ten years ago, control of the team fell to his son Jim Irsay. Since then, the team has made history in the league by winning twelve games in over five consecutive seasons.

One of the first moves made by Jim Irsay when he assumed control of the team was to fire the coach Lindy Infante and hire Bill Polian to run things. Bill Polian hired Coach Jim Mora. Perhaps one of the best decisions made for this team was the drafting of NFL legend Archie Manning’s son Peyton Manning from the University of Tennessee in 1998.

Last year in 2007, the Indianapolis Colts finished the regular season of the NFL with thirteen victories and only three losses. They won the title of the AFC South.

Indianapolis will finally host a Super Bowl! In 2012 Indianapolis will host it’s first Superbowl at the Lucas Oil Stadium.

Jason recently completed his Tribute Portrait of the Washington RedSkins fallen teammate, Sean Taylor.The portrait measures 6×5 and consist of a center life size portrait, of Sean, with a montage of six smaller portraits highlighting the exemplary career of this fine young man and stellar athlete. This beautiful Tribute Portrait was officially unveiled to the public on January 24th at “The Gallery @ Childrens National Medical Center” 111 Michigan Avenue NW First FloorWashington D.C.The portrait, along with other fine works of art by Jason, will be on exhibit; January 24th –March 21st Monday –Friday 10am-5pm The Painting will be sold, with a percentage going to the Childrens Hospital.UPDATE: Jason will be looking to release the Sean Taylor Portrait as a print.
